Those involved in the Foolish Network are complete internet junkies and there are many ways to making it easy to feed the addiction. Many sites today are taking the form of blogs or using technology that has been inspired by them. One of these that is becoming increasingly popular and we would encourage you to use is RSS (Real Simple Syndication). Imagine there are a few sites you like and they write some good articles but you don’t want to have to visit each site to see if it’s updated, well RSS can help to solve your problem. RSS Feed or Live Bookmarks simply update as new content is added so that when you go through your bookmarks you can you see whether there is new content without visiting the site, this can save you a lot of time. Each browser deals with RSS in a slightly different way and you can download add-ons, extensions or plugins to help use RSS more effectively.
The most used browser is Microsoft’s Internet Explorer but Mozilla Firefox is becoming more popular by the day. Flock has lots of fun add-on’s for Flickr, Wordpress and Facebook. OSX users obviously have Safari and Camino.
Here are some explanational videos on how to use RSS Feeds in Firefox, Internet Explorer and Safari, once you’ve learnt you can practice by subscribing to our RSS feed - wink, wink.
